The 4th Forestry Film Festival was held at Daishin Theater (Yasuda Town), and Ecoas Umajimura exhibited for the second year in a row .
At Ecoas Umajimura, we focus on forestry, processing and selling wooden products while thinking about forests. At the Forestry Film Festival, we set up a stall selling wooden bags, including Monacca, so that people could experience the warmth of wooden products. The conversation was lively and it was a fun day. Thank you to everyone who came.

Umaji Village was sunny, as if to deny the heavy rain and wind of the previous day. We set up a stall at the Yuzu Hajimaru Festival, an event held every year before the yuzu harvest. About 3,000 people came to the village, which has a population of just under 800. We saw some familiar faces every year, and it was a fun time. Thank you for visiting our village.

From October 10th to October 22nd, 2024, we exhibited monacca (wooden bags) and wooden goods at the showroom on the 5th floor of Shinjuku Park Tower in Tokyo, sponsored by the Kochi Prefecture Wood Association, under the title "MOCTION Kochi Prefecture Exhibition 2024." Inside the venue, mokumen (wooden wool) decorated like a giant ice cream cone welcomed visitors. Thank you to everyone who came to the exhibition of Toda Shoko's mokumen, which is only available in Kochi, as well as our monacca and wooden goods.

This activity is being carried out in collaboration with various regions across Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Regarding the impact of the earthquake that occurred late at night on April 17th, the news reports have given the impression that it was an extremely large earthquake with a magnitude of just under 6.0, but our store has not been affected and is operating and shipping as usual.

Due to popular demand, we are running low on ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils.
